Virginia "Ginny" Moses Pollock, age 99, passed peacefully on Wed Sept 25th, 2019 at her home in Riddle Village in Media. She was born Oct 1st ,1919 in Syracuse NY but grew up in St. Petersburg Florida with her Parents Mary and John Blaich and 2 younger brothers Jack and Willard.She received a B.S. degree from Florida State University in 1942 and began her first career as a dietitian in Rochester NY. She married Byron E. Moses in 1943 and had a wonderful 49 year marriage together.;Living in Wallingford, she enjoyed ,sailing, gardening and bridge,but especially raising their two children.During this time Ginny started a second career receiving her masters from University of Pennsylvania in Education. She became a teacher in 1962, working in the Springfield School District. As her children grew older they traveled extensively,Byron died in 1991 but Ginny continued living her life with vitality, In 1997 she met her 2nd love and married Everett Pollock. They shared 10 great years of companionship living at Riddle Village, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
In her later years,Ginny enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, flower arranging and trips to the beach. What she enjoyed most,however, was spending precious time with family, especially grandchildren and greatgranchildren.
She is survived and will be greatly missed by her brother, Willard Blaich ,of Clearwater, Florida, her son , David Moses of Annapolis ,MDm her daughter, Janet Seedor and husband John Seedor of Media PA, her 4 Grandchildren, Eric , Brett and Chris (Seedor) and Charles Moses, her Great Grandchildren Natalie and Emily Seedor.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at Wallingford Presbyterian Church, 110 E. Brookhaven Rd , Wallingford, PA on Friday Oct 4th at 11:00 AM. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:00. Friends and family are invited to stay for lunch at the church following the service.
