
Vincetta Mirasola, 92, of Wallingford passed away on April 14th, 2022 at her home. She was born in Chester to the late Vincenzo and Lucy Iacono. She was the owner and operator of Car-Mira’s Deli for over 45 years. Vincetta was known for her strong work ethic. She also enjoyed exercising, gardening, taking family trips to Cape May and going to the casinos in Atlantic City. She loved music and singing. Vincetta was also a long-time member of St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford. What she enjoyed most, however, was spending time with her family. She was greatly loved and respected across many generations of her family. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Steven Mirasola; brothers, John, Peter, and Joseph Iacono; sister, Mary Czukiewski; niece, Joann Iacono. She is survived by her children, Roseann Davis (Denny), and Joseph Mirasola (Beth); grandchildren, Dennis Davis, Jr. , Stephanie Mirasola , Nicole Mirasola; great-grandchild, Finn Mirasola-McCalla; sister-in-law, Frances Kwapisz; nephews, Stanley & Michael Kwapisz; nieces, Paulette Davidson, Roseann Manko and Lucille Humphrey with whom Vincetta was especially close.
Her funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 20th at 10:30am at St. John Chrysostom Church 617 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 9:30-10:30am in church. Burial will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org/
