
Stephen F. MacNamee, 94 of Wallingford passed away March 4, 2023. Stephen was the son of Stephen and Ethel (McKown) MacNamee. He graduated from Lower Merion High School and then entered the US Navy from 1946 to 1948. After his honorable discharge, Stephen graduated from the Williamson Trade School and worked as draftsman for several different companies.
In 1953, Stephen married Judith (Anderson) MacNamee and they were married for 70 years. The couple moved to Exton. Stephen served as the Asst. Fire Chief at the West Whiteland Fire Company. He coached youth baseball for years even before he had his son. He also coached CYO basketball and was an active member of SS. Philip and James Church in Exton.
After Stephen retired he and his wife travelled the country for four years in a RV. They settled in Vero Beach, Florida for about 20 years moving to Wallingford 2 years ago. They enjoyed travelling taking several cruises and trip to England, Ireland, Italy and to safari in South Africa.
Besides his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his sister Ethel “Polly” Green. He is survived by his wife Judith, his son Christopher and his fiancé Kelly Zelner, his grandchildren Andrew and Erin MacNamee and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Stephen will be held privately at a later date.
