Ruth Ann Cassell Taylor of Ridley Park, PA passed away at home on June 3, 2018, she was 89 years of age. Ruth was loved by so many for her vibrant personality. She was a world traveler, loved to dance, play the slots at the casino, talk for hours on the phone, and most importantly she loved her family. Ruth, or “Morning” as she was lovingly known by her family and friends, always had time to listen to those who had problems in their lives and lend shoulder a shoulder to cry on when needed. Ruth was a staple in the Ridley Park community for most of her adult life working as a bank teller. She was a Chester high School cheerleader, class of 1946, and soon thereafter a mother of three children. Ruth was cared for at home by her daughter Deborah for many years before she passed away.
Ruth was predeceased by her son Daniel Taylor and sisters Letitia Cassell, Mary Barlow and brother Frank Cassell. She is survived by her son Samuel Taylor of Salina, KS, her daughter Deborah Taylor of Ridley Park, PA, sister Patricia Cassell of Brookhaven, PA and granddaughters Amy Dougherty of Philadelphia, PA and Caitlyn Taylor of KS, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ruth loved life and laughter, and we are deeply saddened by her death. We love you now and forever Morning.
