Sallie A. DiMascio, age 90, of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026.

Born in 1935 in Essington, Pennsylvania, Sallie was the beloved daughter of the late Helen (Jarek) Jones and Edward Jones. She graduated from Ridley Township High School and went on to build a dedicated career in administration. Sallie worked for many years at Westinghouse Electric Company before later serving as a Human Resources Specialist at Elwyn Institute in Media, Pennsylvania.

Sallie valued family, friendship, and community. She was a devoted member of St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford, Pennsylvania and enjoyed spending time with friends at the Social Club at Traditions of Ridley Creek. Sallie was also a member of Brookhaven Seniors.


She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony DiMascio (April 13, 2021); her son, Charles J. Walker (September 1, 2015); her brothers, Robert Jones (December 18, 2010) and Edward Jones (August 27, 2007); and her grandson, Christopher Walker.

Sallie is survived by her loving son, Robert E. Walker, and his wife, Alanna Marie Walker, of Woolwich Township, New Jersey, along with extended family and friends who will remember her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. John Chrysostom Church (617 S. Providence Road, Wallingford, PA 19086). A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will immediately follow the service at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

Sallie will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her strong work ethic, and the friendships she cherished throughout her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

​Zaira Pia D’Aurizio, 92, of Wallingford, Pa passed away on Friday, January 9th, 2026 at herhome. She was born and raised in Italy. She married her husband, Gaspare, and moved to the
United States at the age of 16. Pia spent most of her life in Wallingford. She was a longtime
member of St. John Chrysostom Church where she was active in the Rosary Club and was a
daily Mass participant for many years. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her
family, especially her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, Isaiah and Maria Ricciuti; sisters, Giovanna, Antonetta,
Concetta, and Sister Maria Clementia.
She is survived by her children, Frank D’Aurizio (Diane) and Maria Rankin (Brian);
grandchildren, Krista, Angela, Steven, George, and Joseph; 5 great-grandchildren; and loving
nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 19th at 11am at St. John Chrysostom Church, 617 S.
Providence Rd. Wallingford, Pa. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from
9:30-10:30am at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence rd. Wallingford, Pa. Burial will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery

​Marie J. Doyle (nee Coyle), 83, a resident of Wallingford for the last 21 years, passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late James (Matt) J. Doyle for 31 years; the loving mother of James (Joann) Doyle, Annmarie (Jeffrey) Kennedy, Mary Kate Doyle, and Patrick (Dawn) Doyle; the cherished Mom Mom to Catherine, Jimmy (Katie), Tyler, Aurora, Lillyth, and Keira Grace; and the proud great-grandmother of Matthew. She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. She is survived by her beloved sisters-in-law, Mary Coyle, Julie Coyle, and Mary Collins.
Marie is the daughter of the late Mary M. and Joseph T. Coyle. She is predeceased by her brothers, Joseph C., Lawrence J., and Thomas J Coyle, her beloved sister-in-law, Nancy Doyle and parents-in-law, Mary E. and Mathew Doyle.
Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to the mountains and the shore, visiting Disney, going to the casinos, and watching the Eagles and the Phillies. Her love of dogs was unparalleled and she leaves behind her dear best friend and furry companion, Harry.
Born and raised in Chester, Marie grew up a member of Resurrection of Our Lord Parish. She lived in Brookhaven for many years where she was a member of Our Lady of Charity Parish. Upon moving to Wallingford, she was happy to join the parish of St. John Chrysostom.
Marie was retired and was previously employed by Sacred Heart Hospital in Chester, Crozer in Chester, and Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby. She graduated from Notre Dame High School, Moylan and became a certified Laboratory Technologist at Misericordia Hospital in Philadelphia.
Services will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church. Calling hours will be 9:00 AM with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30

​Margaret A. Sharkey, of Chester/Eddystone/Aston, PA. passed away on January 3rd, 2026 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.  She was born and raised in Chester to the late John and Margaret Gibson.  Margaret was a graduate of Notre Dame High School.  After school, she went on to work for Bell Telephone/Verizon and also H&R Block until her retirements.
She was a long-time devoted member of St. Rose of Lima Church where she was active in the Legion of Mary.  Margaret was an avid reader, and enjoyed collecting David Winter Cottages.  She was also an avid sports fan of the Phillies, and always a Penn State, and Notre Dame Football Fan.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Peggy Babe; grandson, Kevin Sharkey; brothers, John and David Gibson.   She is survived by her children, Stephen Sharkey (Theresa), Karen Robinson (Rob), and Claire Reilly; grandchildren, Christopher, Nicole, Shaun, Michelle, Michael, and John; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Lou Hoffecker and Barbara Gibson.
She was a kind, loving, & giving person that will be DEARLY MISSED.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 12th at 11am at St. Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10-11am in church.  Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary, on 1701 Market St. Linwood, Pa 19061.  A gathering will follow at the Erin Pub, 36 Winona Ave. Norwood, Pa 19074
