NICHOLAS J. IOVACCHINI, age 92 of Wallingford, PA, passed away on February 8, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia, PA December 25, 1928. He lived in Ridley Park since 1955 before moving to Wallingford in 1995. He was proud of his service in the Army. Nicholas served in Germany during the Korean War. Nicholas was a member of Bricklayers Union No. 1 of Philadelphia and Delaware. He loved his job and took great pride in his detailed bricklaying skills. He had won the Bricklayer Apprenticeship Award. He worked on Penn’s Landing, the Walnut Street Theatre arches, Swarthmore College many schools and hospitals. Nicholas was looking forward to going back to the casinos in Chester and Atlantic City. He also enjoyed many years golfing with his buddies at Clayton Park Golf Course.
Nicholas was predeceased by his loving wife Grace who passed in 2003. He is survived by his devoted daughter Andrea, his sister Connie Ciao and her husband Tony Ciao.
