Marlene A. Ousey, 82 of Aston, passed away June 5, 2018 at home. She earned an associate’s degree at Delaware County Community College. She worked as an Executive Secretary for over 30 years in New Castle County serving at the Courthouse and in the Parks and Recreation Department during her tenure. She was an avid bowler bowling on a team with her husband and son. She enjoyed having her hair done by her stylist Sally. Marlene was a constant companion to her daughter.
Marlene was predeceased by her mother Dorothy Shuster and her husband Thomas Ousey. She is survived by her sons Thomas Ousey of Downingtown, Robert Ousey of Aston, her daughter Anne Fisher of Aston and her siblings Charles Shuster of Wilmington and Ginger Egnor of Dagsboro, DE. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Monday June 11 at 11:00 AM at Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. (Route 320) Wallingford. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood.
