Margaret V. “Peg” (nee Ousey) Malone, 75 of Wallingford passed away on Apr. 5, 2017 at home. Peg was born in Chester to the late Thomas and Marie (nee Huey) Ousey. She graduated from Notre Dame High School and the Radiology School at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital. Peg worked at Riddle Hospital first as a radiology technician and then as the supervising film librarian. She retired in 2010 after 42 years. Peg enjoyed traveling, bowling and most especially spending time with her family.
Peg was predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Malone, her son Michael Paul Malone and her brothers Thomas L. Ousey Jr. and Harry J. Ousey.
Peg is survived by her daughter Margaret M. (Charles) Van Horn of Wallingford, son Joseph M. (Theresa) Malone of Aston, her grandchildren Marie (Eric) Hague, Michelle (Tom) Trieble, Joseph Malone III, William Inzerillo, Dalton Van Horn, Michael Malone, Diana Malone, her great grandchildren Johanna, Georgia and Sylvia Hague, sisters in law Veronica A. Malone and Patricia A. Cassell of Brookhaven, Marlene Ousey of Aston and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday Apr. 12 at 10:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, Eddystone. Friends may call of Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. (Route 320) Wallingford. Int. Private.
