
Margaret Stegnerski, nee Haughey, born on September 13, 1927, passed away at the age of 94 on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Broadmead, a long term care and assisted living facility in Cockeysville, MD.
Margaret was born and raised in Chester, Pennsylvania and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA in 1945. She lived for the past 15 years with her daughter, son-in-law, and their two daughters in Carroll County, Maryland prior to moving into long term care at Broadmead in May of this year. Margaret was a dance instructor many years ago and also worked at Widener University as an administrative assistant for several years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading mystery novels, and watching crime dramas on TV.
She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 40 years, Ted Stegnerski who passed away in 2002.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Christina Francino, and Christina’s husband Stephen, and their daughters Kelly and Lauren. She is also survived by her brother Bernard Haughey, his wife Edna, and their children, Bernard Haughey, Christopher Haughey, Beth Van Buren, and their families.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 19th at 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven, PA. Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10-11am in church. Burial will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
