Juanita “Jan” Williams, of Wallingford, PA., at the age of 93, died peacefully on Thursday, August 29th at her home in Wallingford with family and close friends at her side. Born January 17th, 1926 in Atlanta, Ga., she is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Juanita Conroy and her late husband of 68 years of marriage, Robert “Bob” V. Williams of Media, PA.
Jan graduated from Drexel University in 1947 with a bachelor degree in accounting and was a loving wife, mother and homemaker living in Wallingford with her husband, Bob. Jan loved art and music and loved to oil paint landscapes. She was a close friend to many and was lovingly known as “Aunt Jan” to all the children living and growing up on Canterbury drive in Sproul Estates.
Survivors include her son, Mark E. Williams of Wallingford, PA.; granddaughter, Katherine “Katie” C. Williams also of Wallingford, Pa.
Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5that 11am at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. (Rte. 320) Wallingford, PA. Friends and family are invited to call from 10-11am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Conschocken, PA.
