Jane A. Knapp, PhD, formerly of Newtown Square, passed away on Jan. 25 at Riddle Village after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Dr. Knapp was born in Toronto to Earl and Mildred Kelly. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Toronto and her Master’s and PhD in Psychology at the University of Indiana. She worked primarily in private practice and children’s education centers. She was a member of the American Psychological Association, and she loved tennis, pigs, the beach, and reading. She was devoted to her family.
Dr. Knapp was predeceased by her husband Charles who passed away in 2013.
She is survived by her sons David Knapp of Horsham and Michael (My) Knapp of Wallingford and her grandchildren Jessica, Julia, Johnathan and Hannah.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wed. Feb. 1 at 11:00 AM in St. John Chrysostom Church 617 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford. Friends may call after 10:00 AM at the Church. Int. Private
