Jackie J. Farnschlader Former Business Manager Jackie Died on December 30, 2015 at Bryn Mawr Hospital surrounded by her family. Jackie was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 1954, married beloved husband, Paul in 1956 and then moved to Pennsylvania,settling in Media Pa in 1966. She was a devoted mother to daughter Lisa Waraksa, sons Paul, David and Michael Farnschlader and grandchildren Paul A. &, Emily Farnschlader, Breana , John Paul, and Connor Waraksa, daughter-in-law Missy and son-in-Law,John. She is survived by sister Betty Lee of Fort Worth, Texas, and four brothers Paul Forte, Richard Forte of Georgia and the late Gerald and Howard Forte. Jackie was a wife, mother, grandmother, friend, teacher and humanitarian, who was very sensitive and concerned for the disabled, forgotten,and vulnerable. She supported various causes including quality education for the youth. Jackie had a career in Public and Private school education. The last 18 years of her career she was employed at the Media-Providence Friends Schoolin Media Pa. as Business Manager. She had a great love for children and children’s education. She is fondly remembered as Teacher Jackie. She was also owner and manager with husband Paul of resort rental properties in Ocean City, NJ, where she had a summer home for 30 years. Jackie and her family have been members of the St. John Chrysostom Roman Catholic Church in Wallingford for 38 years. Jackie was full of life and her constant loving and caring energy was contagious. She always strived to help those in need and loved animals, especially her dogs Max and Harley. family gatherings at the beach and holiday meals together were always joyous occasions filled with smiles and laughter. Without fail, Jackie always made a point to call and sing to her children and her grandchildren on their birthdays. Jackie would often ask her grandchildren “How much do I love you?”, to which she would immediately respond with, “too much!” She was as proud and as strong as they come,and her unwavering dedication to her family was unconditional and absolute. She would always tell her loved ones no matter where they were in life, the most important thing to have, to rely on, and to keep closest in life - is family. She lived this way every day ofher life with a spirit as vibrant as her signature red hair. Relatives and Friends may call Monday January 4th,at The Carr Funeral Home at 935 South Providence Road (Route 320) Wallingford from 9am to 10:30am, Her Funeral Mass will be at 11 AM at St. John Chrysostom Church.
