Helen L. Klussman (nee Reinsch), age 82, of Wallingford, PA, formerly of Mason City, IA, and Geneva, NE, passed away on December 29, 2017. Helen was the devoted wife of Bert W. Bishop, Sr., who passed away in 1958, and Edward Klussman, who passed away in 1999. Helen obtained a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, in 1966, and was a teacher of English and Department head for many years at Mason City High School from 1968 until her retirement in 1998. She was the loving mother of Bert W. Bishop, Jr. (of Chicago, IL), Miriam Bishop (of Upperville, VA), and Virginia Bishop. Helen is survived by her three children and twelve grandchildren: Shawn, Eric, Peter, Andrew and Savannah Bishop; Ben, Sara, Kate and Jessie Ludin; Rose McDaniel and William and Rachel Middleton. She had seven great-grandchildren: Drake and Charlotte Ludin, Mark and Will Morrison, Lola Bishop, and Theo and Stella Bishop. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and attend her funeral, which will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2018, at St. John Chrysostom Catholic Church, 617 S Providence Rd, Wallingford, PA 19086. Viewing will take place in the church starting at 9am for family members only, and from 9:30 - 10:45am for friends and members of the public. Helen's funeral will commence at 11am in the church. Helen will be interred on Saturday, January 27th, at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Geneva, NE. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Helen's memory to the environmental conservation organization of your choice. Two of Helen's favorites are the Sierra Club and the Nature Conservancy.
