After a long-fought, courageous battle to regain her health, Grace Dietrich Main passed away peacefully to her Heavenly home on March 2. Her daughters were with her as was her caring and attentive aide and medical caregivers.
Grace was born in New York and raised in Connecticut before moving back to New York, where she raised her family and worked for many years as a Bookkeeper. Grace moved to Pennsylvania seven years ago and began an active life with family and friends. She enjoyed spending time with family most of all. She especially enjoyed going on outings with her grandsonJimmy and her daughter Sandy, visiting her granddaughter Jenny’s home and playing with her great-grandchildren, Emily and Olivia. Morning coffee with her cherished friends was a highlight of her days, as was playing dominoes on Friday evenings, watching movies on Saturday night, playing bingo whenever possible, and of course attending weekly Vespers with Rev. Muli.
Grace joins many loving family members already in Heaven, with her husband, Roger, her mother, Anne, and her beloved sister, Lucy, being chief among them. Grace’s children, Helen Kramer, Sandy Masiak, and Roger Main, mourn her passing as do her grandchildren, Jimmy Masiak, Jen Yanczak, John Kramer, Bella and Roger Main; her great-grandchildren, Emily and Olivia Yanczak; her sons-in-law, John Kramer and Jim Masiak; grandson-in-law, Mike Yanczak; and close family friend, Mark Lipchock.
Her family would like to thank her devoted caregivers who made her life as comfortable as possible and easy as her body failed her.
