Frank T. Ferzetti, Sr. died March 25, 2015 at Taylor Hospital. Mr. Ferzetti was born in Philadelphia the son of the late Nicolas and Caroline nee Mangiocco Ferzetti. He grew up in West Philadelphia and graduated from Overbrook High School in 1946.
He was employed as a Machinist at Linde Electric Welding for 10 years, Westinghouse for 17 years and Boeing for 9 years.
Frank served in the Army during the Korean Conflict and he loved all Philadelphia sports teams and Lawrence Welk.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Nicholas Ferzetti, Jr. who was killed in the Korean Conflict, Richard, and his sister Pauline O’Donnell.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Libby” nee DiPlacido Ferzetti, his sons Frank Jr. (Amanda), Steve (Jean), and Michael (Coleen), his grandchildren Frank Thomas III, Stephen, Gina, Tony Goldenbusky, (Shanna), Michael, Jacob, Connor, & Ryan, great granddaughter Maeve, brothers George, James, Fred, Gerald, sister Concetta Branton, and proud of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Monday at 10:00 A.M. St. Rose of Lima Church 1901 Chester Pike Eddystone where friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until Mass Time.
