Elizabeth M. Glatts, 79 of Aston, died June 6 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Mrs. Glatts was the daughter of the late Francis and Alice (nee Burleigh) Curran and graduated from Notre Dame Academy .She was predeceased by her brother Francis E. Curran and her great granddaughter Shae Marie Tomlin.
Mrs. Glatts had a huge heart for taking in stray animals. Often caring for the sick then adopting them out to friends and family. Her dog Addie was a constant companion and always by her side. She enjoyed spending summers with her family in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island, NJ. Her presence there will be sorely missed.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and was completely devoted to her family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Glatts is survived by her husband James J. Glatts Sr, her children Liz (George) Maugle of Plymouth Meeting, Deb (James) Dougherty of Wilmington, DE, James J. (Susie) Glatts Jr. and Joseph M. (Diane) Glatts both of Brookhaven, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren , her sisters Alice (Kiki) Bell and Patricia Braddy, her sister in law Mary Glatts, her brother in law Fr. Joseph M Glatts and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11:00 in Our Lady of Charity Church 231 Upland Rd. Brookhaven. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. (Route 320) Wallingford and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the Church. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. Springfield.
