 | 1938-2015 Elizabeth Joan Hetu, 76 of Aldan, died June 7 at her daughter’s home. She was the daughter of Francis and Margaret (nee Cluney) Hyland. She graduated from West Catholic High School. She worked at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital for 25 years and was a member of Blessed Virgin Mary Church for nearly 40 years. She loved to play cards but her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Hetu was predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers and 6 sisters. She is survived by her sister Agnes O’Keefe of Newtown Square, her children Maureen Hetu of Wallingford, Joan Dugent of Collingdale, Agnes (Dave) Connor of Springfield and Frank Hetu of Aldan, her grandchildren Michael, Matt, Chrissy, Jacky, Tim, Colleen, Mary, Kimmy, Megan, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10AM in Blessed Virgin Mary Church 1101 Main St. Darby, PA 19023. Friends may call after 9AM at the Church. Int. SS.
