Edward Michael Gussin, 53, of Aston passed away on Apr. 30, 2020 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Ed was born in Philadelphia to Edward Joseph and Theresa (Palandro) Gussin. He graduated from Ridley High School with the class of 1984. After high school, Ed joined the US Air Force and was stationed at George AFB in Victorville, California. He served in the Gulf War during Operation Desert Shield. Ed also met his wife, Jackie, while they both served in the Air Force.
Ed worked for many years as an automobile sales representative at Thomas Chevrolet and then at Rafferty Subaru. He lived for over 25 years in Aston and was a member of St. Joseph Church. Ed enjoyed spending time at the shore in Ocean City, NJ. He was a fan of the Eagles, Phillies, and Bruce Springsteen. He especially cherished being with his family and friends. Ed made everyone feel special and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Ed is survived by his parents, Edward and Theresa Gussin; his wife, Jackie (Walker) Gussin; his Son, Edward Gussin; Daughter Amanda Becker;grandson, Bradley Benn; brothers, Michael (Nicole) Gussin and Christopher (Kendra) Gussin; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday Aug. 19 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston. Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Inurnment will be private.
