Dorothy M. O’Malley, 90, of Brookhaven passed away on Monday, April 19th at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Born and raised in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Catherine (Trosino) Pace. Dot was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1947. Dorothy was woman who was dedicated to her home and family. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church where she was active in many church organizations. She was also a member of the Parkside Seniors and Retired Oil Workers Senior group. Dorothy volunteered with both the Brookhaven Borough Family Day Committee and the Cambridge Estates Civic Association.
She was predeceased by her husband, John O’Malley (2017); siblings, Mary Fabris, James Pace, and Sam Pace. She is survived by her children, John O’Malley, Jr. (Janice), Cathy Cipollini (Dan), and Tom O’Malley (Wendy); 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven. Friends and family are invited to call from 9:30-10:30am in church. Burial will follow in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery.
