 | Dorothy Ann nee Haworth Griggs, 73, of Chester died September 12 at Crozer Chester Medical Center. Mrs Griggs was born in Rose Valley the daughter of the late J. Victor and Dorothy Hope Price Haworth. She attended The School in Rose Valley and graduated from Swarthmore High School. Mrs. Griggs had lived in Chester for 31 years. She was employed as a school bus driver by the Wallingford Swarthmore School District for 31 years. She is survived by her husband Freddie R. Griggs, her children Cheryl Ann Kyler of Linwood, Freddie R. Griggs, Jr. of Chester, James Griggs of Glen Mills, David Griggs of Havertown, and Roian Gregory of Dover, DE, her brother Robert Howorth of Gap, PA and Eleven Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday September 20th at 1 P.M. at Reform Presbyterian Church of Boothwyn 2655 Chichester Ave. Upper Chichester. |
