Dorothy A. Klem, 90, formerly of Aston, PA passed away on January 19th at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born in Chester to the late Joseph and Dorothy Blythe, and was raised in Garden City. Dorothy attended St. Robert’s School and went on to graduate from Notre Dame High School. She loved to travel, especially her yearly trips to Hawaii. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Above all, she was a woman dedicated to her home and loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her Husband, Francis J. Klem (2013); daughter, Susan Adamek (2013); grandson, Joseph Schaffstall (2008). She is survived by her son Francis “Chris” Klem; daughter, Jude Ann Leeper (Brian); grandchildren, Christopher J. Klem, Katharine Klem, Christopher B. Leeper, Geoffrey M. Leeper, Daniel F. Leeper, Jeffrey Adamek; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Blythe.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 11am at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, Pa. Friends and family are invited for visitation from 10-11am. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery.
