Daniel M. Dugan, Sr., 62, of Wallingford passed away on March 29th, 2023 after battling lung cancer for a little over six months. Dan was a long-time resident of Eddystone and boxed with the Eddystone Boys Club as a young man and later went on to coach basketball with them. He was a graduate of Ridley High School with the class of 1978. He worked as a courier for over 20 years for FedEx in PA, DE & MD. He was a life-long Philly sports team fan, especially of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Later in his life he found hope and worked hard to become an individual in long term recovery. Dan found his passion working as a Certified Recovery Specialist through Crozer Keystone Health System and was dedicated to helping others get into substance abuse treatment and was grateful to assist others begin their journey in recovery. He was proud to be a part of the Business Development Officer team at Recovery Centers of America where he last worked. Because of his recovery Dan was able to enjoy his life to the fullest attending concerts and comedy shows with his wife. More than anything, Dan was devoted to his family and loved to spend time with them all, especially his two young daughters. To know Dan was to love him as he was by the following and many more.
He was predeceased by his son, Daniel M. Dugan, Jr.; parents, James and Regina Dugan He is survived by his wife, Jaclyn Dugan (Corson); children Ryan (Jess), Erin, Emma Jean & Annaleigh Dugan; siblings, Jimmy Dugan (Joanie), Donna Brooks (Joe), Debbie Ferrier (Al) & Jeff Dugan; ex-spouse: Judy Dugan (Duffy) many nieces and nephews that he was very close to and six grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, help someone who is in need in remembrance and honor of Dan.
Friends and family are invited to his viewing on Monday, April 3rd from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA. His funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 5th at 10:30am at St. Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone. Inurnment will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
