Catherine Kowalski was called to the Lord on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at the age of 99
Born to John and Mary Ann Polasky in Doylestown. Catherine enjoyed her early life on the family
farm in Bucks County and later moved to Chester, PA where she attended St Michael's School
along with her 7 brothers and sisters.
Catherine later met the love of her life, Walter Kowalski, and were happily married until his death in
2001. They loved attending parties with family and friends and also enjoyed many trips to Europe and
vacations in Florida. They also traveled extensively in Pennsylvania as representatives of the PA State
Assoc of Boroughs.
Catherine was very devoted to her Catholic faith and belonged to many prayer groups and religious
organizations. Proud of her Polish heritage she enjoyed listening to Polish music and could dance the polka with the
best of them. Catherine spent her final years at Harlee Manor in Springfield where she continued her zest for life
enjoying many of the center's activities.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and especially her family caregivers, Jeanne Anderson,
Dolly Donato, Carol Soha and Cathy Rafa.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday March 9 at 10:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church 1901
