Catherine Holgerson died December 19 at Jennersville Regional Hospital in West Grove.
Mrs. Holgerson was born in Chester the daughter of the late Pierino and Stella nee Szmajada DiCarlantonio.
Mrs. Holgerson had lived in West Grove for 5 years previously living in Ridley Park.
She had been employed as a housekeeper at Crozer Chester Medical Center for 20 years retiring in 1992.
She was married to the late Frank Holgerson who died in 2008, the mother of the late Angela Marie Holgerson who died in 2006 and sister of late Mary DiMatteo.
She is survived by her son Frank E. Holgerson, Jr. (Theresa) of Lincoln University and her daughter Denise Froschle of Ridley Park, her sister Frances Bacon of Wilmington, DE, grandchildren Kristin, Stella Labarre, Frank Hogerson III, Charles Froschle, Alexandria Holgerson, great grandchildren Radley and Liam Labarre.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. Church of the Holy Child 2500 Naamans Rd. Wilmington where friends may call from 10:00 to 10:50 A.M. Friends may also call Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. (Rt. 320) Wallingford.
