Marie C. Kramaric, 94, formerly of Concordville passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023 at Lima Estates. The eldest daughter of James and Susan (Bradley) Kerrigan, Marie was born and raised in Chester. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1947 and spent her early years working for Bell Telephone.
After meeting and marrying her late husband, Charles E. Kramaric, Marie dedicated herself to her home, children, and—eventually—being Mommom. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. She was also an avid fan of Philadelphia sports, especially the Phillies. What she loved most was spending time with her family, who will miss her listening ear, her steady guidance, and the way she always made you feel like you were home.
Marie was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan S. (Kramaric) Young and her younger sisters, Eleanor P. Kerrigan and Sister Joan Kerrigan, SND. She survived by her beloved son, Charles J. Kramaric and leaves behind three grandchildren: Christopher C. Kramaric, Michael K. Young, and Victoria S. Vogel.
Friends and family are invited to her Funeral Mass on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd. Glen Mills, PA 19342. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Children's Burn Center of Philadelphia.
