Anthony DiMascio, age 100 of Brookhaven and World War II veteran, passed away on April 13, 2021. Mr. DiMascio resided in Brookhaven for 12 years. He served in the US Navy abourd USS Wayne serving in the Pacific in the invasions of the Marshall Islands, Guam, Saipan and Okinawa.
He was a graduate of South Philadelphia High School and Spring Garden Institute. Mr. DiMascio was employed by Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Lester for 37 years where he worked as a draftsman and drafting manager. He was a member of St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford and Brookhaven Seniors.
He is survived by his wife Sallie DiMascio; two children, Patricia Atwell and David DiMascio of Sebastian, FL and stepson Robert Walker (Alanna) of Woolwich, NJ.
He was predeceased by a son Anthony DiMascio, Jr.; three sisters Anita Shaw, Sadie Marano and Jeannie Stratton; stepson Charles Walker and grandson Christopher Walker.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday April 21, 2021 in St. John Chrysostom Church 617 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford. Friends may call after 10 to 10:45 AM. Interment will be private.
