Ann Virginia Loiselle (Nee Pattison), of Newtown Square, PA died peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, November 15, 2018. She was born in Newton, MA and lived most of her life in Sharon, MA, with William Dolor Loiselle her husband of 55 years who predeceased her in 2012. She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Loiselle and Catherine Sullivan (Thomas) and son John Loiselle (Christine), and six grandchildren; Krista, Shaun and Brittany Sullivan and Katherine, Claire and Abigail Loiselle.
Ann earned her BA degree at Wheaton College and remained active in alumni gatherings and in organizing reunions. She was a special education teacher for 15 years in the Sharon Junior High School after earning her Master’s degree in education.
Following retirement she enjoyed traveling in Europe and Bermuda with her husband and visiting her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time at the family cottage in Brewster on Cape Cod. Ann was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and an active volunteer in Sharon. Despite suffering from Alzheimers Disease for many years, she always retained her sense of humor and was a favorite at Plush Mills and Sunrise Assisted Living with her long term caregiver and friend, Josephine Kneafsey. She celebrated her 90th birthday in June.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20th from 9:30-10:30 am at the Carr Funeral Home, 935 South Providence Rd. in Wallingford, PA. Funeral Mass will be at St. John Chrysostom Church, 613 Providence Rd in Wallingford, PA at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited to a graveside burial service on Saturday, December 1st at 12:30 pm at the Rock Ridge Cemetery, 107 East St. in Sharon, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimers Association www.alz.org/donate
