Louise Mary Gyda passed away on September 27, 2026. Louise was raised in Linwood and was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. Her adult life was spent mostly in Parkside and Brookhaven. Louise graduated from Chichester High School. She was a dedicated homemaker raising her three children with her husband of 61 years, Mike.
Louise was an unconditionally loving mother and devoted wife to the end. That’s for certain. She had small circle of friends and family but all genuinely loved her. She could be “ornery” at times but everyone took it in stride. She’ll be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Michael Gyda in 2018. She is survived by her children Michael, Kevin and Geraldine Gyda; and her siblings Dorothy Argentine and Frank Albany Jr.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Service on Tuesday October 6 at 12 Noon at Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 11 AM. Interment at Immaculate Heart Cemetery in Linwood.
