Thomas E. Finn, 75, of Chester, PA passed away on March 19th, 2025 at his home. He was born in Upland and was raised and educated in Chester. Thomas was a graduate of St. James High School with the class of 1967. He was a veteran of the United States Army with whom he served during the Vietnam War. After his time in the service, he went on to become a police officer for the city of Chester until his retirement.
Thomas enjoyed his time bowling, playing darts and pool. He was a member of the VFW post 7941 in Eddystone and also a member of the American Legion Post 926 in Aston, PA.
Thomas was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Kathryn Finn; siblings, Joseph, John, and Patricia Finn.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rachel Finn; daughters, Erin Mercer (Bill), and Megan Centola; grandchildren, Brandon, Tony (Hailee), and James; great-grandson, Tony, Jr.; brothers, Francis (Mary Lou), Michael, and James Finn (Donna); sister, Mary Finn; sister-in-law, Bonnie Finn; many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service and burial will be private.
