Sally A. Smith

​​Sally A. Smith, 76, of Wallingford passed away on June 12th, 2024.  She was born and raised in Chester and was a graduate of Chester High School with the class of 1966.  Sally worked as a hair dresser.  She enjoyed bowling and was also a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Garden City Fire House.  She was predeceased by her parents, Winfred and Florence Wright; daughter, Melissa DeMaio; sister, June Wolfe.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Smitty” Smith; son, William Smith; daughter, Christina Dunkerson; sister, Joenna Sinex; brother, Steven Wright; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at 11am at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA.  Friends and family are invited to her viewing from 10-11am.  Burial will be private.

Sally always lit up a room with her dazzling spirit! She will be sorely missed.

Chrissy, so very sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was such a sweet lady. I remember her taking the girl scouts bowling and all the work she put in with the little trophies etc. Sending love and hugs to you! <3

So many wonderful memories as neighbors and friends. Card games and swimming. Sally had a great sense of humor and was quick to give a hug or laugh. So sorry for your loss Smith family! Xoxo
