Marie R. Johnson, 89, of Wallingford, PA passed away on Saturday, November 8th 2025. She was born and raised in West Philadelphia where she graduated from West Catholic High School for Girls. After marrying and moving to Wallingford she was an active parishioner at St. John Chrysostom Church and a volunteer librarian at the school where she served for many years. Marie was a woman dedicated to her home and family and Philadelphia sports. She loved gardening, bowling, and traveling. She managed to travel to all 7 continents throughout the years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Karl “Bill” Johnson; parents, Walter and Maria Randolph. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Johnson (Fran); grandchildren, Francis and Liliana; sister, Joan Freed.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 12th, 2025 at 11am at St. John Chrysostom Church 617 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, Pa. Friends and family are invited for viewing from 10-11am in church. Burial will follow in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
