Marie L. Dwyer, 94, former resident of Chestnut Ridge and Fair Acres, and formerly of Parkside passed away on September 19th, 2025 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was born and raised in Chester to the late John and Laura Pietryzk. Marie was a graduate of Chester high School with the class of 1948. She went on to work at Laughead Pontiac and Porter Buick for most of her career as a book keeper. Marie was a member of the Parkside Senior Citizens. Earlier in life, Marie was an avid bowler. She also enjoyed going to the casino and taking trips to Wildwood.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her Husband, Thomas F. Dwyer, Sr.; son, Thomas F. Dwyer, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Mark Dwyer (Diane), and John Dwyer (Maria); 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 30th at 11am at Our Lady of Charity Church in Brookhaven. Friends and family are invited to her viewing in church from 10-11am. Burial will follow in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery
