Linda L. Bauer, 77, of Garnet Valley passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  Born and raised in Upper Chichester, Linda graduated from Chichester High School with the class of 1966.  For the past 44 years, she made her home in Garnet Valley where she devotedly raised her family with the love of her life, Jack, until his death in 2005. For many years, Linda worked in the healthcare industry in several capacities.  Later, she ran her own successful business as a cleaning professional.
Linda was an avid sports fan, especially of the Eagles and Phillies.  Every Sunday during football season, she could be found faithfully tuned in to the game- TV volume turned down, radio turned up- so she could savor the legendary voice of Merrill Reese calling each play as she cheered on her beloved Birds. She enjoyed gardening and was widely admired for her green thumb.  She found peace and joy in nature, especially in the quiet beauty of the woods behind her home, where she spent countless hours observing wildlife.  She loved animals of all kinds- both wild and tame, cooking for family, and taking trips to Rehoboth Beach where she had vacationed since she was a child.  Linda also gave back to her community and regularly donated her time and resources to City Team Ministry and the Pennsylvania SPCA.  Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, Isabel and Jack Stutz, who were the lights of her life.
Linda was the wife of the late John F. (Jack) Bauer, mother of the late Johnathan Bauer and daughter of the late Tilman and Virginia Blades.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Lisa Stutz (Danny), and Leah Klish; devoted brother, Daniel Blades; cherished grandchildren, Isabel and Jack Stutz; and dearly loved son-in-law, Robert Klish and brother, Bobby Blades.
Friends and family are invited to her funeral services on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the Carr Funeral Home 935 S. Providence Rd. Wallingford, PA.  A viewing will be held from 10am to 11am immediately followed by the service.  Burial will take place at Lawn Croft Cemetery.
