Elizabeth D. Ferzetti, 84, of Aston, PA passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025.  She was raised and educated in Eddystone and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1958.  Elizabeth worked as a supervisor of outpatient registration for 40 years at Riddle Hospital until her retirement.  Elizabeth was an exemplary employee and often received many compliments from patients about her compassion, knowledge of her job and how she often guided patients through difficult times.  Elizabeth was also very active in her children’s activities serving many years as the treasurer of the Sun Oil Little League and as a member of the Greenridge Elementary PTA.
Elizabeth and her late husband Frank were always regulars at all their son’s baseball, basketball, soccer, and football games. She would always cheer loudly and was known for her cowbell at Sun Oil Little League All Star games. Elizabeth was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Phillies and Eagles and was also a huge supporter of St. Joseph’s University basketball.  “Libby” as known to her family and friends, always enjoyed the company of others. She was often described as the life of the party and would never let the DJ leave a wedding without playing “We Are Family.”  Libby was also very proud of her family and greatly enjoyed seeing the success of her sons, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and children of friends of the family.  Libby was always a person that family and friends knew they could count on in times of need. Those who knew Libby felt blessed to have her be part of their lives. Later in life, Libby and her husband Frank enjoyed long Saturday morning drives together where they would enjoy a trip to the casino and a good dinner together. They enjoyed a long marriage of fifty years before Frank passed away in 2015.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank T Ferzetti, Sr.; brother, Frank DiPlacido; and sister, Loretta Woods. She is survived by her sons, Frank T. Ferzetti, Jr. (Amanda), Steve Ferzetti (Jean), and Michael Ferzetti; grandchildren, Stephen, Gina, Michael, Jacob, Connor, Ryan, Frank Thomas, and Tony Goldenbusky; great-grandchildren, Jack, and Maeve; sister, Theresa Jennings; brother, Joseph DiPlacido and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, February 21st at 11am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Eddystone, PA, where friends and family may visit from 10-11 am.  Burial will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.

Libby was the best!!! I started at riddle in 2004. Everyone who knew her would say she was very kind and sweet to all she encountered. If you were walking down a hallway you immediately knew her laugh.

Keeping her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Libby was my best friend for over forty years. We had
many great times together with the Aston AA running the concession stand at the Basketball Tournament. She was everybody’s favorite and will be sadly missed. She will always be in my thoughts and prayers. My sympathies to Frank, Steve, and Joe and Eileen’s family.

Libby always had a smile on her face. She was kind and sweet and always had time to talk and tell a joke or two. I worked at Riddle for many years and got to know her. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Libby's passing. I worked with her at Riddle for 35 years. She was always very kind and funny. No matter who came in to registration she treated as if they were her best friend. It seemed that she knew everyone in DelCo. Prayers for Libby and to her entire family.
