Bennie was such a gentleman who never said a bad word about anybody. I first met Bennie playing football at St. James where he was a scrambling quarterback. It was the last few years that I saw Bennie and though fighting his illness he continued to be a positive person. Unfortunately I will be away Saturday but my thoughts will be with his lovely wife, Eileen. RIP Bennie.

Bennie had that star quality from the moment I met him at St. JAMES.
You always received a smile and hello from him. A person that will always be remembered by his classmates and teammates.
My prayers are with his family.

I remember meeting Bennie at Our Lady of Peace Grade School in MIlmont Park. We got along well from then, all the way through Saint James. Bennie had a calm spirit and was very thoughtful. Even though I live in California, I think of my Brother Bull Dogs, often. Bennie would always make me smile when he ran across my mind. Although he's gone, the smiles stay.

Benny and I were neighborhood friends. If we weren't playing handball or wiffleball we we're laying in the grass , looking at the clouds making up what they looked like. Innocent childhood memories are the best. Thanks Ben for being part of them.

My deepest sympathies to the entire Wilson family. I met Bennie as a freshman at St. James. He always had a smile and nod when we crossed paths in the hallways. Just one of the real good guys that made up your high school class. I enjoyed catching up with him at the recent reunions. He will be missed by all. RIP

My Deepest Sympathies to Eileen and Benny's entire family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad and difficult time. I first met Benny in Teener League the summer before our Freshman year at St. James. We were in the same home room throughout our 4 years and on the baseball team. Benny was an energetic guy who was always friendly and cheerful, aways with a smile as he greeted you. After school years passed didn't before I finally got to touch base with Benny until he friended be on Facebook. Benny went through rough times in his fight with his disease, but the last 2 times I saw him he very positive when we talked. The news of his passing took me by surprise, he had fought a difficult battle that few win and I had thought Benny had that chance... Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it today, I was hoping I could. Please accept my apologies, may Benny now Rest in Peace! GOD BLESS!!!
